To your left, there is a TV with a black remote controller. When Ukrainian television fails to entertain, you can log in your Netflix account (please log out before the departure, our cleaning lady will not be able to do that for you) or surf Internet - the TV is connected to our WiFi network.

Secret code of the remote controller, decrypted

In case of an Internet breakdown, please follow this course of action.

You are welcome to set up the transformable sofa bed, and turn it into a spacious sleeping place. There is an extra bed linen in the bedroom, inside the wardrobe.

The metal cylinder on the window sill is an aroma lamp - we did not manage to bring fresh air of Provence to the apartment, but try our best to keep city smoke out. The lamp is controlled online, you will find it easy once you try.

There are three ways to control the temperature:

• You will notice an air conditioner above the table, which is controlled by a small white remote controller (we usually put it under the TV). Please do not use the conditioner to warm up the apartment for a long time: it is not very effective that way (heated floor will keep you warm much better), and may be easily overheated;

• We have heated floor in every room, same as a white round switch that you will find on the walls and use to regulate temperature. Please keep in mind that heated floor consumes a lot of electricity, so please do not use too many devices while it is being heated - this may accidentally cause electrical circuit overload.

• The apartment has central heating batteries, regulated by Kyiv communal services. Please do not try to turn the handle on the batteries, this will not help to increase or decrease their temperature but may cause leakage instead.

We hope that our bedroom will be a cozy lair, a place for an exhausted traveller to restore energy and get inspiration for a new adventure.

To protect your sleep from outer light and noices, please use the window blinders. We would appreciate if you do not pull the chain with too much effort, slow and steady will do the trick.

Please check the wardorobe by the door: inside, there is an iron, an ironing board, and some extra bed linen on one of the top shelves.
