Shopping Malls
Nearby, on Bessarabska Square, you will find Mandarin Plaza - not very large and probably not a place where you can spend a day, but all well for some grocery shopping (LeSilpo supermarket is located inside) and a shopping tour through some middle-class and luxury brands.
You may find that Gulliver shopping mall offers more entertainment, and some worldwide brands - an oasis of globalisation, where you can feel almost at home no matter where you come from.
If you take a walk down Hreschatyk street, you will find a living history of Ukrainian shopping: TSUM shopping mall (Central Universal Store). Once a must-visit to every citizen of Soviet Ukraine, it has been renovated and has turned into a modern tourist attraction: top brands, food court, and a terrace on the roof for those willing to relax or admire a concert.
Why not give a try to some Ukrainian style? You will probably find several local brands in the abovementioned shopping malls, but just in case, here are two more shops:
